Would you like to deepen your understanding of Nonviolent Communication and somatic practices for conflict resolution?
Células Durmientes, in collaboration with Fundacja Mudita (Poland/Italy) and other European partners, is looking for participants for Roots of Peace, an Erasmus+ funded international training course taking place from May 25 to June 2, 2025, at the Ośrodek MaPa center in the Ełk Lake District, Masuria, Poland.
This course provides a unique learning space to integrate somatic practices with Nonviolent Communication (NVC), fostering empathy, emotional resilience, and mindful connection in relationships and communities.
What will you learn?
- Explore your personal relationship with conflict, identifying triggers and habitual responses.
- Learn how Nonviolent Communication can help create a more open and easeful approach to conflict.
- Shift your mindset from fear to curiosity when facing conflicts.
- Enhance emotional regulation through somatic practices.
- Deepen your empathic listening skills and understand emotions and needs with compassion.
- Transform conflicts into opportunities for growth and understanding.
Participant Profile
- 21+ years old.
- Minimum 18 hours of prior training in Nonviolent Communication (NVC).
- Experience working with movement-based practices.
- Readiness to engage in touch-based exercises.
- Ability to commit to an intensive 6-7 hour daily schedule.
- Willingness to share personal emotions and experiences.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Motivation to organize local workshops inspired by the training.
Program Conditions
- Accommodation, meals, and travel costs (up to the reimbursement limit) covered by the Erasmus+ program.
- Participant contribution: €120 – €150 (sliding scale), payable via bank transfer upon confirmation.
