Do you feel like taking part in an 8-hour workshop where you can play with sounds, voices, and music?
Do you want to try out different techniques and see if they can be useful for expressing feelings, emotions, or experiences?
Did you know that the only thing we ask is that you come with a desire to explore, try, fail, and play?
If so, this is the workshop for you. A workshop organized by Células Durmientes (www.célulasdurmientes.com), as part of the KA220 “PLAY ME YOUR FEELINGS” project (https://www.cooplasperanza.it/i-nostri-progetti/play-me-your-feelings/) in which we are partners.
DATES: Friday, May 29th (4 pm to 8 pm) and Saturday, May 30th (10 am to 2 pm)
LOCATION: Ateneo Cultural El Abéitar (Calle Covadonga, C. Luis de Sosa, corner, 24004 León)
PARTICIPANTS: Aimed at young people aged 16 to 23. Maximum 9 participants.
FACILITATORS: Music therapists Alberto Acebes and Andrés Sánchez.
Includes materials, technical equipment, lunch, and travel. The workshop is free upon selection.

The core idea of this workshop is to explore new ways of emotional expression, non-verbal communication, and inclusion using music, the body, and movement.
These are not “classes,” training courses, or conventional art workshops. It is a space for research and experimentation, a pilot designed to test and validate the techniques developed in the European project.
The Spirit of the Workshop: The approach is purely humanistic and experimental. Participants are required to approach the experience with:
●A high spirit of play: A willingness to explore and try things out without judgment.
●Patience: With the process and with others.
●Tolerance for uncertainty: Failure or things “not working out” is an intrinsic part of the game and the experimental process.
